Your Life Will Follow Your Thoughts
Your life will follow your thoughts. Can you say that out loud to yourself? “My life will follow my thoughts”. Wow! The power behind that belief is mind blowing. With this as your conviction, your life can’t help but be transformed! For a very long time, my thoughts brought only ugliness and despair. Not today. Today, I delight in realizing that I am a powerful woman of God whose best years are yet to come. I relish the knowledge that with the aid of the Universe, I can change my course every minute of every day! So if self-doubt, fear or judgment creep in, I intentionally shift my thought to confidence, abundance and strength. I tell myself “We got this thing girlie!”. I may not believe it at the time I am saying them, but I consciously think them and say them aloud. Why? Because my life will follow my thoughts! The power lies within me, and I totally dig amazing!
If you hear yourself thinking over and over, “this financial situation will never change”, “I will never find a job”, or “I will always be alone”, remember your life is following you. Hellooooooo, I am not kidding, your life is really following you, and you are taking it to a bad neighborhood. So if you are ready for a change of scenery, grab your power, make a conscious effort to shift your thinking from positive to negative, act “as if”, and watch as incredible things begin to unfold.
So what are you thinking? What are some of the positive messages you tell yourself? Do you have any catch phrases or words that help change your direction?

“She’s a restless spirit on an endless flight” – The Eagles (by Fee)
I used to think restlessness was unhealthy. My Dad was a Marine. We were taught to remain focused on the task at hand! I perceived being restless as not being determined or directed. On this ever-evolving journey, I am learning that being a little restless is actually the Universe’s way of getting us to move. I am not referring to being distracted, that’s a whole other blog
. I am talking about that deep down gut feeling that I might not belong here. That nagging question is this really what I want to be doing?
We all get comfortable in our spaces. The job, the relationships, the workout routine, the classes. We could go on and on. But when one or more of those places become uncomfortable, there is a shift occurring. Your energy to participate is just not there. It may manifest itself in apathy or uneasiness. We just don’t care anymore. Or we stay firmly planted in the wrong place and do not move until the pain of that wrong place becomes so great that we have no choice but to move.
When I heard that line from the Eagles song today, I was gently reminded that we are all on an endless flight. We are all seekers & searchers, on a journey to something better, something great What is wrong with seeking that better job, better lifestyle habits, more suitable partner, or that “A” in class that has been elusive? Good enough is not your destiny. Your purpose is far greater. The Universe has amazing things in store for you. Your restlessness is the Universe’s call to keep searching. Let’s go girlies!
Just for today, can you identify any areas of your life where you are feeling restless? Is the Universe calling you to make a change? Is there any action you would like to take to leave good enough behind on the way to great? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. PS the Eagles song is “Witchy Woman” in case that was bugging you
