How I became Deepak Chopra in 3 Minutes – The Movie
Lipstick-Chat is jumping into the 21st century with our first video. I am often asked about meditation practice. In this 7 minute video I let you know how I started to meditate and give some practical steps to begin a meditation practice. Please let us know your thoughts. I also ask at the end of the video if you would like see 3 minute guided meditation segments. So if yes, let us know in the comments section. Feel free to suggest topics as well. Here goes nothing! Kathleen! I love it and I applaud your honesty about how difficult this new journey into “blog-dom” was for you. I think it would be fabulous to have you as a meditation mentor on this blog. Meditation is so important to my life today and I know how many things have changed for me personally as I began to understand that being quiet and listening (the meditation) was just as important as talking (the prayer). My vote is a resounding “YES!” Please teach us! Much love and support ~

Thanks Ness! Having Bailey on my lap helped
. Thank you for the feedback and support. Luvya.
What a great way to start my day. (Seeing your face) I’ve been wanting to learn, but haven’t made myself start to try. I will try it on my lunch break in a remote space in my warehouse. So excited!!

Thanks HQ
. Let us know how it goes. Luvya
Great topic! Great reminder! Meditation is something I need to get back to and having you remind me must mean it is time. I especially like the tip on starting out for just 3 minutes. I can do 3 minutes! I am worth sitting still for 3 minutes – we all are! I am truly pumped about getting home and setting aside the time tonight to meditate. Thank you!
You are worth it Tavia! As you said we all are! Thanks for reminding all of us of that very fact! You rock.
Wow great viedo, you did a wonderful job.I think I need to start Meditating, you make it sound easy. Love you talking to Baily, you look so natural like you have been doing that your entire life. So proud of you, love you so much. I know your father is proud of you too especially being quiet for 20 minutes. Ha ha
Thanks Mom. Remember Dad shushing me ??? LOL. Too funny. Love you!
Very nice. It’s good to see you. It’s always nice to take a leap of faith into uncharted territory.
Post on You Tube.
Thanks Laurie. Working on the You Tube post, and more importantly, thank you for your wonderful advice to give this a try
. You rock!
Kathy, Loved the video. I think we are all worth sitting for 3 minutes. I have no clue how to meditate but am willing to try.
That’s awesome Sherri and thanks for the support. From the responses here and I on FB I think I will write a 3 minute one and put it up on Friday. Sometimes the guided ones help get you into practice.
I wanted to report in that I sat & meditated for a few minutes last night
I have been thinking for a long time that I need to be more positive in my day-to-day activities (I’ve been allowing someone I work with to bring me down with their negativity). So I sat, and my thought was I want to be more positive. With that, though, came the realization that this was way too general of a thought. I needed something small I could put into ACTION. I came up with one thing – all phone calls I receive will be met by a positive & cheerful me…. yes, to include the dreaded telemarketers! I will be positive to all I speak to on the phone. It’s one small concrete thing I can do to take back a little bit of me from my negative surroundings. Tonight I will continue to nurture that thought. Thank you, my friend!!!
What a great Idea, and thank you for sharing. I was once told before you answer the phone smile, it will reflect in your voice.
Smile…. thanks, I will try to do that! Now if the phone would just ring so I could practice. ((PS – the Girlie Power note on this page says “I can do this!” How perfect for me!))
Tavia – THANK YOU, THANK YOU for reporting your progress and giving us concrete examples of what you did to make it work for you! We love it. If anyone else would like to share their experience and technique… that would be amazing! I love those little realizations ……..:)
Reminds me of that beautiful day we sat in your Living room and you did a Guided Meditation for the group of us that gathered there….thanks fee…I need to get back on the path of finding peace, internal peace….even for a few minutes a day…..xoxoxo
Luvya girlie!!!
I finally watched the video! Meditation is something I have been thinking about for about a year and have not done it. In the last couple of days I realized that while I have been moving forward in my life it has not been on purpose. It has been just because I get up and do what I need to do that day. I love the 3 minute suggestion and think I will give that a try. I even wrote egg timer on the list so I would actually get one. Sometimes the step between thought and actually doing is as big as the Grand Canyon but simple, small 3 minute baby steps make it doable. Thanks Fee for being an inspiration.
Yay Fee! Love you!
