Guest Blogger- Abrielle Valencia
Today we are pleased to introduce Abrielle Valencia! After reading the Sunday guest blogging post, she decided to share her story. Let her introduce herself:
I’m an amateur writer who gets inspiration from life’s experiences. I will obtain my MBA/HRM later this year and will continue developing my skills by becoming certified (SPHR) in my field of study. I also plan to travel (after my studies) to help raise awareness about poverty-stricken areas of the world. I’m a firm believer that God placed each of us on this earth for a purpose; my purpose is to help and inspire others.

We all have a breaking point some time in our lives. Some of us experience financial hardships, heartache, threatening illnesses, and other trails/tribulations. It’s easy to have faith when everything appears to be going well. However, sometimes our faith can get a little shaky when things fall apart. You don’t know how you’re going to make it out of a situation(s). You start wondering why these unwanted events are happening. Sometimes it’s a test of our faith. Sometimes it’s a path we laid out for ourselves because we grew tired of waiting on God.
I can remember a time when I didn’t know if I was going to have a career that suited me; interview after interview, one rejection after another. Each time was more disappointing than the last. This went on for a year. Then eventually the calls stopped coming. But I did not give up. I wanted to give up, but I knew the Lord would open a door…as long as I kept my faith and stayed in obedience to Him. Well low and behold, my opportunity came. I’m currently in a position to advance my career to a higher level…more than I ever anticipated.
There are times when we may feel abandoned by the Heavenly Father, but He is truly listening and wants nothing but the BEST for us. By the way, the companies that rejected me either laid-off employees or no longer exist. That could have been me. See how God works in extraordinary ways? It’s easier said than done, but His word says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3-5:6).
There’s a thin line between coincidence and what God has in store for us. If I didn’t stick with the Heavenly Father, I would have derailed the path He laid out for me. When I’m ever in doubt, I think about the Lord’s love for me. Remember, this is not our final destination. We are just passing through to get back to Him. Whatever you’re going through, try to hold on…it shall come to pass.

Thank you so much Kathleen! I am honored.
Thank you for sharing your story with our readers. Faith is always a wonderful daily reminder. Blessings our friend ! Kathleen & Becky.
Thank you for sharing your experience and hope! I am a writer as well, presently unpublished, yet I have absolute faith that this is God’s journey for me and He will open the necessary doors for me to achieve my dreams. I love your sentence regarding coincidence! It’s amazing that people who fail to foster a connection with their higher power never see that “coincidence” is really a spiritual nudge in the right direction for us. I have learned that “Faith without works is dead.” if we fail to try we fail to grow. Thank you for your inspiring piece!
Thank you for your post Abrielle, your hope and perserverence in the face of adversity is awe-inspiring. It is a true testimony to the promise of God and to NEVER GIVING UP!
Very inspiring. I am not a writer and do not have the gift with the written word. I do however; have a heart and great faith. So I do know that as long as I keep MOVING sometimes forward and sometimes backwards but as long as I keep moving I will be fine. And no matter what I am never alone!!
Thank you all for taking the time to thank Abriella. I hope she gets to see all her support
Thank you Abriella for your very inspiring post. I have always had great faith which has helped me through some really terrible times. It is always good to be reminded to trust in God, he loves us unconditionally.
